Robbery suspect in JuneRobbery suspect in May
The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man who has robbed two banks located inside Sunrise Avenue grocery stores over the past two months.

At about noon on May 14, the man robbed River City Bank inside the Bel Air supermarket, 1039 Sunrise Ave. He was seen riding away on a mountain bike.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. on June 22, the same man robbed the U.S. Bank branch inside Safeway, 898 Sunrise Ave.  In both robberies, the suspect gave the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen, and no one reported being injured during either robbery.

The robber is a white male adult in his 30s or 40s, 6'0" tall with a medium build, with brown hair and a mustache that extends toward his chin. In both robberies, he wore a black ball cap and a black logo shirt--the first one, a San Francisco Giants jersey and the second time, a black shirt with a large white "SECURITY" logo.

Anyone who recognizes this man or has information about these crimes is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916)783-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward for information leading to arrest.
