|The City of Roseville needs your input--and your neighbors', co-workers', friends', and relatives' input,--for the Urban Forest Master Plan, which will impact the future of trees and planting around Roseville. |
Participants who come to the public meetings will learn about the state of Roseville's urban forest, and will have the opportunity to provide detailed input about tree protection, maintenance and planting.
"Upon completion, the Urban Forest Master Plan will serve as a road map for making strategic decisions about Roseville's trees" said Roseville’s Urban Forester Michael Neumann. “More importantly it will provide a shared vision for the future of the urban forest to inspire and engage residents in the care and protection of trees.”
There are two public workshops in October in addition to an online survey. The first workshop will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 11 at Martha Riley Community Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. The second public workshop begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 23 at Maidu Community Center, 1550 Maidu Drive. The online survey will be available after October 10 at www.roseville.ca.us/parks.
