Roseville Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a wrong-way driver who crashed into another car and then fled the scene.

At about 3:18 a.m. Friday, September 26,  a 41-year-old Rio Linda man was driving his white 2002 Cadillac sedan southbound on Fiddyment Road north of Blue Oaks Boulevard, when a northbound white GMC Yukon swerved into the southbound lane of Fiddyment Road and collided with him head-on.  Three people got out of the Yukon and ran away, without helping the injured man or staying at the scene as required by law.

The Cadillac driver was taken to the hospital and treated for several injuries, including a possible concussion.  Roseville's traffic investigator has still not been able to identify the Yukon driver.  A third driver, a possible witness, stopped at the collision scene and appeared to argue with the Yukon driver.  That potential witness didn't stay at the scene, and investigators would like to talk to him about what he may have witnessed.  The potential witness was a man wearing a baseball cap and driving a white newer Ford pickup, possibly an F250 or F350.

We're urging that witness to come forward, or anybody else who might have information that would help.  Please call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-7867.  Tipsters can remain anonymous, and could get a $500 cash reward if the information they provide leads to an arrest.
