Join us for our next fun-filled and educational family event! All our exploration events have free activities based around our concepts of energy and water efficiency, watershed protection and waste reduction. We welcome explorers of all ages to drop by and discover the ways our daily decisions impact the world around us. These events offer something for both children and adults, and there is a different theme at each event. No registration necessary. For more information, give us a call (916) 746-1550.

Saturday, August 24 • 10am - 2pm • FREE

Free family fun! We’ll be talking trash and sliding into the sewer at Curby’s Waste-a-Palooza! Meet Curby, the recycling robot. He loves to tell people all about trash. Beware - he also loves to tell corny jokes. Visit Curby's Creation Corner to create and take home your own recycled crafts. Play games like Three P Flip, HHW Knockdown, Trashy Challenge and Sewer Scramble. Compete for prizes in an interactive quiz show. Try to find all the unflushables in the Sewer Swim. There might even be a couple of garbage trucks outside. The whole family is invited to enjoy an exciting day of special activities.

Coming soon! Mark your calendars for these upcoming family events!
