Bird and Bug Bonanza

Held at the Utility Exploration Center (1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd.)

Drop in and explore the good, the bad and the buggy at this free family event. Enjoy fun activities as you get up close and personal with out local habitat. Follow rain down the drain and explore Cruddy Creek in our interactive creek crawl. Avoid oil, soap, dog poo and other pollutants that don't belong in the water. Build your own birdhouse* to provide a healthy home for local backyard birds. join the Bug Squad to find out more about the insects that surround us every day and help keep our ecosystem healthy.

*Birdhouse building activity requires materials fee.




All our exploration events have free activities based around our concepts of energy and water efficiencyvolunteer, watershed protection and waste reduction. We welcome explorers of all ages to drop by and discover the ways our daily decisions impact the world around us.
