Vice Mayor Bonnie Gore was elected to the City Council in November 2012. She won reelection in 2016 and will serve as Vice Mayor until 2018 when she becomes Mayor.
Prior to serving on the council, she was appointed to the Roseville Transportation Commission, the Grants Advisory Commission, the Centennial Committee, and the Roseville Sustainability Committee.
With over 15 years of local public policy and business experience, Bonnie is a member of the Roseville business community, where she manages government and community relations for a local Roseville healthcare and hospital system. She previously served as a District Representative for a local State Senator.
Her roots go deep in the Roseville community, and through the past decade, Bonnie has managed numerous projects which required forging effective working partnerships with community and business organizations, schools, and local government officials throughout the Greater Sacramento Region.
Bonnie graduated from the Roseville Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Roseville program, and now serves as the chair of it’s steering committee. In 2010, Bonnie received the Chamber’s prestigious “Athena Award” which honors women in South Placer County who make significant, positive impacts in the community.
Bonnie also volunteers her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters and was the founding chair of the Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource Center. Additionally, she is a Trustee for William Jessup University.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Santa Clara University, and Roseville has been her home for nearly two decades. She and her husband, Rob, have a 16-year-old son, Jacob.
