Pauline Roccucci currently serves the residents of our city as Mayor Pro Tem. Elected to council in November 2008, Pauline received the highest vote total and began her term as Mayor Pro-Tem; she will succeed Gina Garbolino as mayor after the November 2010 election. Pauline was also Roseville's mayor in 1989-1991.
Pauline is a lifelong resident of Roseville, attended local schools, graduated from Roseville High School, Sacramento City College and California State University, Sacramento (B.S. in Nursing). She received the “Distinguished Service award” from CSUS Alumni association in 1995.
Pauline has been a Registered Nurse for 40 years and is currently a nurse at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Previously she was employed at Roseville Community Hospital, now known as Sutter Roseville.
Pauline’s political activities include the City of Roseville Planning Commissioner for 3 years, City Councilwoman for 9 years, 2 years as Mayor and 8 years as a Director of the Placer County Water Agency. During this time she served on many advisory boards and commissions including the Northern California Power Agency, the Regional water Authority, and Board Member of the American Public Power Association. Locally she was involved with the development of the Roseville Auto Mall, the Galleria and numerous other projects beneficial to the Roseville economy.
Pauline was re-elected to the Roseville City Council in November 2008 with the highest vote total, and is now Mayor Pro Tem of Roseville.
She is a member of the Flying Samaritan Medical Health Team, Roseville Soroptimist and member of the South Placer Woman’s Leadership Coalition.
Pauline has been married to Richard for 40 years, and has four grown children as well as four grandchildren. Her hobbies include camping, reading and hiking and spending time with the grandchildren.
