Roseville Housing Authority celebrates 40 years of providing safe, affordable housing in Roseville and Rocklin
9/23/2014 - 

The City of Roseville Housing Authority is celebrating 40 years of providing rental assistance to low-income residents of Roseville and Rocklin with a ceremony October 1. Since 1974, the Roseville Housing Authority has awarded more than $70 million in federal funds for rental assistance in Roseville and Rocklin.

The Roseville Housing Authority currently provides rental assistance for 637 households through the federal Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Eighty percent of households receiving rental assistance in Roseville and Rocklin have a head of household who is either elderly or disabled.

Roseville named one of top tech cities in U.S.
12/6/2013 -  The Center for Digital Government (CDG) named the City of Roseville, California one of the top technologically progressive and innovative cities its size in the United States for 2013. This marks the third time in four years Roseville has finished as one of the top five highly ranked cities based on population in the CDG's annual Digital Cities Survey.

City of Roseville selects The Cordish Companies and The Evergreen Company as Master Developer for Downtown
2/11/2013 -  At its February 6 meeting, the Roseville City Council unanimously selected a partnership comprising Baltimore-based The Cordish Companies and Sacramento-based The Evergreen Company as the master developer of its downtown after a competitive process involving five applicants.

As part of its role as master developer, The Cordish Companies and The Evergreen Company would be involved in creating public and private financing plans, rebranding the City’s urban experience, determining correct tenant mixes, and building public assets that facilitate these goals. These projects could include but are not limited to the construction of mixed-use office and residential buildings, additional parking resources, streetscape improvements, and civic facilities.
