Roseville Electric Utility, your community owned utility, prides itself for providing highly reliable power to its customers. Based on the statistical data for 2013, the average customer will experience an outage once every 7 years. If they had an outage, power was restored in about 7 minutes.

SAIDI
- System Average Interruption Duration Index
SAIDI measures the number of minutes the average customer will be without power over one year.  Roseville Electric’s SAIDI for 2013 was 7.35.  The average Roseville Electric customer was without power for 7.35 minutes in the year 2013.

SAIFI
- System Average Interruption Frequency Index
SAIFI measures the number of times the average customer experiences an interruption in power (more than 5 minutes) over one year.  Roseville Electric’s SAIFI for 2013 was 0.13.  The average customer will be interrupted once in 7.35 years.

CAIDI
- Customer Average Interruption Duration Index
CAIDI measures how long a specific outage lasts for those customers that were out of power.  Roseville Electric’s CAIDI for 2013 was 56.91 minutes.

MAIFI
- Momentary Average Interruption Frequency Index
MAIFI measure the number of times the average customer experiences a short interruption in power (less than 5 minutes) over one year.  Roseville Electric’s MAIFI for 2013 was 0.05. The average customer will experience a short interruption once in 20 years.
