Environmental Utilities provides low cost and reliable water, wastewater, recycled water and solid waste utility services to residents and businesses residing in Roseville.
Additionally we provide important services related to conservation and responsible use of our precious resources through programs such as water conservation, stormwater management and recycling.
Part of the way we educate our customers about our utility services and conservation programs is through being active in the community we serve.

Several months ago, I contacted the Water Conservation Division about my concern that too much water was wastefully running down the street when the sprinklers were on. The person who came to check out my concern did not find a problem, and suggested that perhaps my yard was getting run-off from neighbors’ yards.
With the run-off becoming more severe, last week again I phoned in my concern. The person with whom I spoke, “Jen,” assured me she would send out someone who would take care of the issue.
I am so pleased to report that “Robert G.” did, indeed, take care of the issue. He did a thorough job of detecting the cause of the run-off, and determining how to deal with it. There were two non-visible drains, which had, over the years, become blocked with soil, plants, and tanbark. The watering schedule the gardener had set needed to be re-done so the water had time to be absorbed into the soil.
Robert told me about the smart timer and the rebate program. I purchased the smart timer and wireless moisture sensor from Green Acres and had them installed within a few days. Robert came back to check that they were installed properly and were in working order. He helped me learn how to set the appropriate watering schedule and to fill out the rebate form. Now I am happily awaiting my rebate.
Many thanks to Robert G. for his help with my water problem. He is a skilled professional, and a gentleman. Thanks, also, to Jen for sending him to help.
We installed one of the water saver systems in our rental house in Roseville.
So…this is about your water conservation guy, Ken Lugo. He was just wonderful! So much help, and there for us so many times to make sure the system was working as it should. We love him!
"In February of this year I had surgery and was told by my surgeon not to push or pull anything. This included garbage cans. Since I am a senior citizen living alone, I called your office and was told I could participate in your Community Assistance Program. I called your office last week to terminate this service since I now believe I can manage this chore on my own.

Stephanie listened to my dilemma, never interrupted or judged me and offered a solution above and beyond what I could have ever asked for.... I feel fortunate to have made Roseville my home."
"I wanted to let you know that I received a call from Customer J.P. He wanted to get our address so that he could send Linda a THANK YOU card! Customer J.P. said that Linda was very kind and patient with him, and walked him through a problem with his [water]meter."
"Customer E.R. came in this morning to pay for a dumpster. She told me that Bill is the most incredible garbage man in the world. Every week when Bill comes by to pick up the trash on their street, he stops and gets out of the truck to say "hi" to the customer's 4 year old son. The customer's son looks forward to his weekly visits with Bill. Customer E.R. wanted to let you know that Bill is an asset to the City of Roseville."
"I received a call from Customer A.S. this morning. She was raving about the GREAT work the sewer crew did on her street over the last few days. Customer A.S. went on to say that the street was filled with large work trucks, but in all of this controlled chaos, the workers were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. Furthermore, Customer A.S. was pleasantly pleased that not only was the street left spotless, but the crew had cleaned the "kiddie walk" as well."
"Just wanted all you guys to know that I just got a call from Customer J.C. He had me on the phone for about 10 minutes singing Gary Garcia's praises. He said he's the nicest driver he's ever met, helps out all the Sun City residents whenever they need it and gets out of his truck and Customer J.C. has "never seen any driver do that before."

The Roseville Employees Annual Charitable Hearts Fund (R.E.A.C.H.) is a community giving fund created through the generosity of Roseville employees and retirees. These employee-donated funds are dispersed to local charitable organizations that serve youth, seniors and families in the South Placer County region.
The R.E.A.C.H. Fund also accepts private donations from individuals or businesses. Corporate donors with multi-year commitments include: First Northern Bank, Roseville Automall Association, Westfield Galleria at Roseville and NEC Electronics America, Inc.
