Squirmin' on the Square

This new series delights all tots, as they end their day with different performers each visit! Join musicians, magicians, scientists and other special guests in this 4 week series. Parent participation required.

Swim All Winter & Spring With a Season Pass
News ImagePay a one-time fee before the season starts and you will not have to pay again for the rest of the winter/spring. Passes include free entrance to Recreational Swim and Parent & Tot Playtime. Season Swim Passes are good at the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool, January 1-May 31, 2015.

Join the Maidu Museum Volunteer Team
News ImageHave fun learning about local history and native culture by joining our team of docent volunteers. After training, volunteer docents lead tours of the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Winter 2015 Training starts January 20.

Parks Doing Our Part During Drought
In 2007 the State of California's mandated reducing water usage by 20% before the year 2020. We have already met that goal. Now with the City's declaration of Drought Stage 2, which requires 20% reduction for households and a 30% reduction in irrigation for businesses, we continue to look for ways to be more efficient with our water resources in addition to the reductions that have already been achieved.
