To celebrate what makes Roseville great, we are holding a photography contest. Anyone who takes photos in the Roseville city limits is eligible to compete in the "Take A Shot" photo contest. The photos do not have to be taken during a specified time frame, but should appear current. Photographers who have earned an income from the sale of past print or digital images are only eligible to compete in the Professional Category.
There are eight categories for entry and photographers must identify in which category they would like to compete. Only one category per photo is accepted. You may submit multiple photos on various categories; however, photographers may only win in one category.

The file name of your Fan Favorite nominee must be listed on the entry form. Fan Favorite photos and photgraphers names will be posted on the Roseville Park, Recreation & Events Facebook page. The photo with the most "likes" wins. Voting begins on Friday, February 7th and closes on Friday, February 28th.
All photos entered must be in a digital format. Entries must be accompanied by a completed contest entry form. There are no limits on entries; submit as many digital photographs as you wish. If you are submitting in multiple categories, you must indicate the category name in the file or folder name. Only one category per photo. Entries are due January 31st.
The minimum resolution is 300 dpi (dots per inch). The best option is to keep the photograph at its original resolution - high resolution is preferred. Minor digital enhancements are permitted, but images that have been significantly modified or appear unnatural will be disqualified.
