For more than 40 years, local sculptural artist Phil Evans has been adorning buildings, landscapes and public gathering spaces – both regionally and nationally – with works of art made of metals, glass, stone and wood. Event goers who attend the May 14 Greener Gardens Tour and DIY Expo will have a chance to win a piece of art made by Evans. If you win, that artwork joins a family of notable art pieces found in the region.
It's that simple: mulch saves water. Roseville water customers interested in receiving FREE mulch can swing by the Placer County Fairgrounds on May 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. This is one of many ways you can be as water efficient in your garden.
