The Roseville Utility Exploration Center is a collaborative effort that spans all sectors. We welcome opportunities for business, government and non-profit sponsors, willing to donate, to help make the Utility Exploration Center a state of the art, one of a kind experience that will help bring positive change to our world and its environment.
We are actively seeking sponsors to help it maintain a vibrant, dynamic regional presence that ensures visitors will return often. Four types of sponsorship opportunities currently exist:
· Temporary: Short-term sponsorships for rotating displays. The Exploration Center currently features displays with permanent frameworks that can be refreshed with new content. The center has space available for rotating displays and is interested in talking with companies about their ideas.
· Outdoor: In addition to the gallery space and learning lab, the grounds outside have been set aside for an Ideascape of living displays, featuring exhibits on drought-resistant (xeriscape) landscaping, irrigation and construction innovations, solar energy, watershed protection and more.
· Educational/Transportation: To provide maximum reach to students, the center is seeking field trip sponsors to provide educational programs, materials and transportation to classes. In addition, the center welcomes educational sponsorships for classes and workshops aimed at resident and business audiences.
· Events/Activities: The center was designed to encourage active community use through a variety of events, programs, speakers, community celebrations, and other group activities.
The center is well designed for active use by local and regional visitors and we look forward to forging sponsorship relationships that will allow the Utility Exploration Center to achieve its potential as an exciting place to learn what we need to know about living responsibly.
