These programs combine a guided discovery of the exhibit hall with a hands-on science activity in our technology laboratory. Each program has pre-and-post activities found online to extend and integrate a visit with your classroom instruction in language arts, mathematics and science. All field trips to the Roseville Utility Exploration Center are correlated to California Content Standards as well as the Education and the Environment Initiative. .
The 1st - 6th grade field trips are designed for a minimum of 10 students with a max accommodation of 70. Classes with more than 35 students are divided into two groups and rotated through the exhibit hall and our technology lab for a hands-on science activity. Teachers and parent chaperones participate as "lab assistants" to assist students during the experiment portion of the program.
