About Station 3
Fire Station 3 is located at 1300 Cirby Way in the southeast area of the city. Fire Station 3 is the busiest fire station in the City of Roseville, running 1772 calls in 2011. Fire Station 3 is also the oldest fire station in the city and turned 50 years old in November 2011. Fire Station 3 contains one Type-1 Engine that is staffed by a crew of three personnel.
Fire Station 3 is bordered to the west by Roseville Road, to the north by Douglas Blvd, to the east by Linda Creek and to the south by Sacramento County. Within this area are the neighborhoods of Cresthaven, Cirby Ranch, Meadow Oaks and South Cirby.
Fire Station 3 is dedicated to Joe Gabrielli, whom donated the land to the City of Roseville. Joe developed much of the area within the response district covered by Fire Station 3 and was an active member of the Lyons Club. He passed away in 1960 after a long battle with cancer.
Due to its location, Engine 3 commonly responds to calls on Interstate 80 and mutual-aid to Sacramento County. The area is also highly populated with convalescent and assisted living facilities. A majority of the incidents in District 3 are medical in nature, for which the City of Roseville contracts with AMR for ambulance transport.
