The Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition (HFSC) was formed in 1996 in response to the tremendous need to inform the public about the life-saving value of home fire sprinkler protection. HFSC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and the leading resource for independent, noncommercial information about residential fire sprinklers. HFSC offers educational material with details about installed home fire sprinkler systems, how they work, why they provide affordable protection and answers to common myths and misconceptions about their operation.

Check out NFPA's Fire Sprinkler Initiative website! Sprinkler advocates across the country have asked for a coordinated effort to encourage the use of home fire sprinklers. NFPA has launched that effort through the “Fire Sprinkler Initiative®: Bringing Safety Home.” The initiative includes a variety of proven, effective ways that home fire sprinkler advocates can communicate the impact of sprinklers.
A very important component of the Fire Sprinkler Initiative is "Faces of Fire", a new NFPA campaign designed to put a face on the life-saving impact of home sprinklers. With funding from the U.S. Fire Administration, this campaign features real people telling personal stories to demonstrate the need for sprinklers. Learn more about the Faces of Fire campaign.
