Brookfield Residential submitted an application on May 2, 2011 to process the Amoruso Ranch Specific Plan (ARSP), Annexation request, General Plan Amendment, Pre-Zoning and Development Agreement for an approximately 674 acre property located on the south side of West Sunset Boulevard approximately 1.5 miles west of Fiddyment Road. The proposed land use plan includes 2,785 residential units in a mix of low, medium and high density. The land use plan also includes two commercial parcels totaling 55.5 acres, a 7-acre elementary school site, six neighborhood parks and a 6.9-acre fire station/public facilities site. Approximately 140 acres of the site will be set aside as open space preserve.
