The City of Roseville’s Development Services Department is excited to announce its new paperless permitting and plan review process! All application packets (including plans, maps, and technical documents) must be submitted in digital format. You may either apply online through our Online Permitting Services (OPS) Portal, or bring your application packet into the Permit Center on a CD or thumb drive. Visit our OPS Submittal page for more information.

Welcome to the Planning Division

The Planning Division provides professional guidance and technical assistance to the City Council, planning commissions and the public; implements and monitors city growth and development policies; accepts, processes and analyzes development applications and recommends action on such applications to the Council, Planning Commission and Design Committee. The Planning Division also acts on items such as administrative permits, sign permits, home occupations and code enforcement.

Planning Fee Schedule - Effective July 1, 2018

All permits are subject to an added 3 percent Technology Fee pursuant to Ordinance #5014.

What's new about Parking in Front and Street-side Setbacks

The City Council has adopted an ordinance to prohibit parking on residential landscaping. More information is here.
