The Roseville Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List is closed.

Those who qualify for the program will pay approximately 30% of their adjusted monthly income for their share of a monthly rent and Roseville Housing Authority, which administers the federal program, provides funds for the remainder. Long recognized as one of the leading housing authorities in California, the Roseville Housing Authority continues to be an innovator in the field of affordable housing. Currently, Roseville Housing Authority provides housing assistance to over 600 elderly, disabled and low income Roseville and Rocklin households through its various programs.

Housing Choice Voucher Audited Financial Data Schedule

Roseville Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program is audited as part of the City of Roseville's basic financial statements. The Financial Data Schedule (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) is presented for purposes of additional analysis as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), but is not required as part of the audited financial statements.

Housing Authority Annual Budget

The Housing Authority is a separate legal entity however is considered a component unit of the City of Roseville since the City is financially accountable for its activities. The financial acitivities of the Housing Authority are included in the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR); however, the Housing Authority produces its own separate annual budget which is taken to its governing body which is the City Council.

Reporting Changes

For current HCV participants only.
The following forms can only be accepted for current Housing Choice Voucher family members in the Roseville Housing Authority’s jurisdiction.

Report changes form

Roseville Housing Authority’s policy for reporting changes:

  • Participants of the Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance program must immediately report, in writing, any changes in income or assets, and if a family member no longer lives in the unit.
  • Failure to report changes in writing within 15 days that result in the overpayment of the tenant's subsidy amounts will be owed by the tenant to the Roseville Housing Authority.

Changes must be REPORTED AND VERIFIED by the 20th of the month in order for a rent decrease to take place the following month. Failure to properly report changes will result in no change to tenant portion of the contract rent until properly verified.
