Library VolunTeens- recruiting for Summer now!
News ImageMeet other teens in Roseville, and make a positive impact in your community. Develop professional skills and work habits. In addition to volunteering, VolunTeens are members of the Teen Library Council.

Requirements:

-All teens must have a government issued ID card (state I.D. card, drivers license, passport)
-All teens must be finger printed (at no cost to you) and cleared (usually takes a week to clear) before the VolunTeen orientation
-Attend an orientation on Wednesday May 18th from 5-630pm, or Saturday May 21st from 1030am-12pm. Both orientations take place at the Martha Riley Library
-Commit to volunteering at least ten hours in the Summer

Literacy Tutors Needed: Help Someone Learn!
News ImageLiteracy skills open doors and allow people to have the opportunity to succeed in school, work and life. You can help by becoming a tutor!

Our tutors:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Do not need to have previous tutoring or teaching experience
  • Have 2-3 hours a week to volunteer
  • Are able to volunteer during hours that the library is open
  • Are able to commit at least 6 months to the program
