News ImageLiteracy skills open doors and allow people to have the opportunity to succeed in school, work and life. You can help by becoming a tutor!

Our tutors:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Do not need to have previous tutoring or teaching experience
  • Have 2-3 hours a week to volunteer
  • Are able to volunteer during hours that the library is open
  • Are able to commit at least 6 months to the program
We value both personal and professional diversity in our tutors because we believe that every individual contributes something unique to this program. Visit for more information and to apply!
