Tour Stop 6 - Transcontinental Railroad Landmark

Roseville Railyard in Early 1900's




Located at 133 Church Street, State Landmark No. 780 was
dedicated in May of 1969, recognizing Junction's (Roseville's)
role in the completion of the nation's first transcontinental
railroad. This landmark commemorates the 100th
anniversary of the completion of that line on May 10, 1869.
