Become a volunteer Transit Ambassador

Help others become more independent

Last Updated: 1/11/2013

Are you looking for a fun way to volunteer your time while learning a new skill? Or, are you a regular traveler on Roseville Transit who'd like to help others ride the bus? Whether you are an experienced bus rider, or have a desire to learn about Roseville Transit, you can be a volunteer Transit Ambassador.

As a Transit Ambassador, you have a great opportunity to make an important contribution to your community. There are many people in the Roseville and south Placer County region who could enjoy more freedom if they knew how to use transit systems. Your enthusiasm, smile, patience, and knowledge about using the local systems in south Placer County are everything you need to make a difference in their lives.

Roseville Transit provides inexpensive, clean, reliable, and environmentally friendly transportation to Roseville's medical centers, community centers, libraries, sports facilities, grocery stores, shopping malls, and restaurants. You can enjoy using the service while you answer other passengers' questions, or help new riders get comfortable using the local bus system.
