New Film “The Bill Collector” Shot Entirely in Placer County

Producer, director, and Loomis resident Peter Oakes has premiered his latest film, “The Bill Collector”, shot entirely in Placer County and featuring locales like Roseville's West House Bar & Nightclub. Using both actors and crew from the Placer County area, the film is being released in association with Gold Creek Productions, based out of Grass Valley.

“The Bill Collector” is based upon the book of the same name, and features the fictional story of a modern day bill collector and his questionable methods in a climate of financial struggle, increasing foreclosures, and changing public attitude about debt. The film is available for purchase on DVD or via YouTube rentals through the official movie website at www.thebillcollectormovie.com.

The film was aided by the support of local businesses and individuals, as well as a number of local city and county departments.
