Night Out at the Museum - February
Please join us Saturday, February 15 from 6:30pm-8:30pm for a FREE “Night Out at the Museum”, part of the 3rd Saturday Art Walk. Al Striplen (Ama Mutsun Ohlone) will present “Rediscovering and Relearning Heritage Traditions".
Al Striplen has been an educator and counselor for over 45 years. He retired in 2010 from the California State University system having worked at the university in Sacramento and at Humboldt in Arcata, CA. Art, music, poetry and social justice issues are important areas of interest.
"My presentation “Rediscovering and Relearning Heritage Traditions" will be about my personal journey following clues out of the forest of confusion, recognizing and remembering heritage & traditions, the helpers along the way and the unfinished business-implications for today."
Museum doors open at 6:30pm. Program starts at 7pm. Light refreshments will be available.
