Want To Name A Park?

Roseville residents have until 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 29 to submit their naming suggestions for two new parks. The parks to be named include two neighborhood parks.

1. The neighborhood park at Stone Point: a 3-acre park on Stone Point Drive in the Stoneridge area of Roseville. This park is planned to include a children's play area, shaded picnicking and multi-use turf.

2.
The neighborhood park at Fiddyment Farm: an 8-acre school/park site next to the new Fiddyment Farm elementary school. The park master plan process will begin this Fall. Typical amenities included in a school/park include active sports fields, children's play areas, shaded picnicking, perimeter walkways and more.

Name suggestions must be submitted on the appropriate form and received by the City Clerk’s Department by 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 29.

The City’s Park Naming Subcommittee will review all suggestions and make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Commission and the City Council. All park names are approved by the City Council.
