Public Water Forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Placer Co.

Water is top of mind for all Californians during this unprecedented drought, and perhaps even more so for Roseville residents seeing the effects of changing water supplies in Folsom Lake.

Our water systems are changing and there are plans in development that could affect our region's water supply. The Bay Delta Conservation Plan, what you may know as the "Twin Tunnels," will change how water is delivered in California. This project will impact our water future and it is important that all Roseville residents and business owners understand the region’s concerns about the plan.

We encourage you to join the League of Women Voters of Placer County 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Rocklin Community Center, 5460 Fifth St. for a public forum to discuss the BDCP. Panelists from the state’s Department of Water Resources, environmental experts and water providers will be on hand to discuss the plan and answer your questions.  Go to http://www.lwvplacercounty.org for more.
