Current trail closures

Last Updated: 7/27/2017

Updated 6/26/17:

The following trails are closed due impacts from winter storms. Fencing and signage mark the closed area. For your safety, do not enter the closed areas. Information on trail closures will be updated as conditions change.

-  Trail along Linda Creek between Meadow Lark Way to Sierra Gardens Drive

-  Antelope Creek Trail
Following damage from January storms, the Antelope Creek Trail is closed between Galleria Boulevard and Antelope Creek Drive. Heavy storm waters undermined the trail’s culvert crossing of Antelope Creek and caused substantial erosion. The trail is closed until repairs can allow for safe public access. Construction will occur along with improvements by the Placer County Flood Control District. Although the flood control project is expected to be completed by November of 2017, Caltrans will be starting the improvements to the Highway 65/I-80 interchange. This project will require the continued closure of this path while the interchange construction is completed.

Once trail reopening dates are determined, they will be shared here and through Trail Alerts and Twitter.
