The City of Roseville has been ranked 3rd place nationwide by the 2013 Digital Cities Survey published by the Center for Digital Government (CDG) as one of the most technology-progressive, innovative, and smarter cities for its size in the United States. The City of Roseville has been consistently ranked as one of the top 5 cities in the past three years; this reflects well on the City Council’s vision and the implementation of our innovative technology programs.
The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory institute for information technology policies and best practices in state and local government. This award program consistently demonstrates and recognizes the public entities, such as the City of Roseville, for effectively incorporating innovative technologies and leadership practices in the 21st century.
This outstanding achievement is an extremely challenging award to be granted and it represents excellence and great accomplishment by the Information Technology team. It also reflects a great deal of partnership efforts on the part of everyone in this organization (One City).
