As 2015 comes to an end, I would like to thank all of our Department Heads, cross-functional team members and our business partners for your continued support, ideas and contributions. So much of what we have achieved over this last year is a direct result of our partnership efforts. As this new year approaches us, we hope to continue to grow our partnership as we seek to continuously improve & transform the business technology services within the City of Roseville.



To our staff, I would like to personally thank you for your dedication, skill, leadership and commitment in making Roseville IT Department – the dynamic and innovative organization it is today. You really are the best. As we reflect upon this last year, I can't help but think of all the amazing things we have accomplished. Below is just a small glimpse of the business technology achievements over the past 12 months:

  • Launch of Office 365 (Cloud Sourcing of Mail, SharePoint, Skype and 1-Drive).
  • Completion of Public Safety CAD/RMS/Mobile, Agenda Automation, Open Data Portal, EOC Common Operating Picture, Gov-Delivery Email Outreach, Portfolio Management, and other Wireless & Telemetry Sensory projects.
  • Partnership with Temp Help Services agencies and Business Consulting firm such as GFOA, Moss Adams, AAC, Accuvant, Accela, Dell, Microsoft, Motorola and etc.
  • Development of "Tech Teens" mentoring program with RPAL.
  • Celebrated Sixth Annual Customer & Year-End Partnership Luncheon with over 200 cans of food collected for Roseville Salvation Army.
  • Strengthened our team with E-learning training opportunities, and adding certified PMP-Matt/Carrie/Eric, Security Expert-Norm, Microsoft Specialist-Wes/Jesse and GIS Professional-Marc.
  • Increased awareness of Cyber Security and Conducted 1st Cyber Emergency Exercise event.
  • Empowering our Customers with the re-energized "Technology Insiders" workgroup.
  • Speaking engagement at major industry event - ESRI, MISAC, SACOG, APCO, and Trending Technology.
  • Food & Fun (That is in our IT's DNA with chilies cook-off, tailgate party and BBQ in the parks) and it's an important component to our success.
  • Awards & Recognition from Digital Cities and MISAC Leadership Achievement.


  • Christmas is a time of celebration, joy and togetherness and I certainly hope that these sentiments can be enjoyed by all teams, business partners & families connected with us over this period.
