NorCal residents travel to Roseville for passport assistance
Last Updated: 2/9/2017
Inside the window of the Roseville City Clerk’s office, you’ll discover a beehive of activity.
Here, a team of five staffs the city’s Passport Agency. “We’re a great team!” Deputy Clerk Rosalinda Parra describes her teammates. “We’re friendly, and we’re very helpful with all of our customers.”
For twelve years, this group has been certified by the U.S. Department of State to issue passports.
The team holds a record of processing 127 passports in only four hours. Clients travel from as far as San Jose, Truckee, and El Dorado Hills to work with this group.
For over a decade, Roseville’s Passport Agency has helped thousands of area residents with their travel documents. The agency offers “new passports, photos, and notarization of forms, if necessary.” City Clerk Sonia Orozco said. In that time, the passport program has generated $1.5 million for Roseville’s General Fund.
Right now, residents can simply walk-in and address their travel document needs. Because of the agency’s popularity, it will soon be moving to an appointment-only schedule.
To make the most of your visit to this office, visit web pages for the Roseville Roseville City Clerk or the Department of State, follow the directions on the application and bring in all required supporting documents.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Agency at (916) 774-5263.
