Spray Ground Reopens For Season
The Vernon Street Town Square Spray Ground reopens on weekends beginning May 7. Daily hours begin on Memorial Day. Enjoy another summer of fun in the spray ground!

Goat Grazing Returns
News ImageGoats are once again grazing the open space and preserve areas to assist with vegetation control in the open space and preserve areas. Goats provide an innovative, environmentally sensitive way to eliminate fire hazards such as grass by keeping open space vegetation under control.

Wee One Wednesdays
News ImageCalling all Wee Ones! The return of Wee One Wednesdays begins on Wednesday, May 4, 10:00-10:45 am at the Vernon Street Town Square.

Youth Sports Field Conditions
Field information and updates will be posted Monday-Friday by 3pm.
If a field is marked "reinspect" the field must be evaluated by the user group at practice or game time for playability. The user group must use the playability criteria outlined in the Inclement Weather Policy when making a determination.


Maidu Museum & Historic Site wins Excellence Award

The Maidu Museum & Historic Site in Roseville was one of six museums in the State to receive the 5th Annual Superintendent's Awards for Excellence in Museum Education by the California Associations of Museums and the Office of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The Maidu Museum & Historic Site offers a unique cultural haven for families and individuals who want to experience the life ways and culture of the Nisenan Maidu who called this location home for thousands of years.
