Volunteer Opportunities

Join the Volunteer Team at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site!

Volunteer Open House on Saturday, July 22 from 11am-2pm. We are looking for friendly, outgoing people who love to learn and teach children. Our Summer Guide Training runs August 15-September 21, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm. Meet the staff and ask questions to find out if you have what it takes to join our team.

Volunteers are needed for many other positions at the museum.  Click on the button below to fill out the interest form. Volunteers gain valuable experience while enhancing their knowledge of the Maidu Indian culture, native plants and geology of the region.

Please note: All City of Roseville Volunteers must complete a live scan fingerprint, which requires a valid government issued ID card. The City of Roseville covers the cost for all livescans. Please allow up to 3 weeks to process the application and fingerprinting. Museum volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
