Is the graffiti on your property?
Make a graffiti vandalism report either by using our online form (select "vandalism" as the crime type) or by calling police dispatch at 774-5000. A police employee will issue a case number and photograph your graffiti, in order to investigate and eventually prosecute the graffiti vandal. After your graffiti has been documented, the City of Roseville requires that you clean it up within ten days if it is visible from the public right-of-way. If you do not clean it up within ten days, City crews will remove it and bill you for the cost of removal. If the graffiti vandal is arrested and convicted, the judge will order him or her to pay restitution to property owners for the damage caused.
Is the graffiti on public property or someone else's property?
Call the Roseville Police Department's Graffiti Hotline at (916)746-1021. anytime, day or night. City staff will document and photograph the graffitti. If it is on public property, city crews will remove it promptly. If it is on private property, city staff will notify the property owner to remove it.
