Window Replacement Program
You can reduce energy costs by installing energy efficient windows in your home. Energy Star qualified windows save you energy and money, increase the comfort of your home, and protect your valuable possessions from sun damage.
Windows must have a U-Factor of 0.30 or less AND an SHGC of 0.25 or less.Window rebates are for single-pane window replacement. You must upgrade from existing single-pane to multi pane windows to qualify.
Look for the label
Each window is labeled with an Energy Performance Rating that displays the window energy properties. The key is to learn what to look for on this rating label when purchasing your new windows. When shopping, look for the ENERGY STAR® label which identifies products that save money and energy, and help the environment by using less natural resources. In addition, all ENERGY STAR® windows bear the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) label. The NFRC is a non-profit public/private collaboration that provides non biased energy performance ratings for windows.
Please have the following information available before you start completing the Window Replacement rebate application. You will need this information which is required for rebate processing.
