Construction began June 1 on grading the future site for a relocated Fire Station No. 1 at Lincoln Street and Linda Drive, and a segment of the Miner's Ravine Trail under the Lincoln Street bridge. Consistent with the Downtown Specific Plan, the project includes converting Linda Drive to a one-way street adjacent to the future fire station. During construction, the narrowing of Linda Drive will extend from Jefferson Street to Lincoln Street. Construction on the project is expected through December 2015.
