Bring your bike and helmet to Bikefest, 9 a.m. - noon, Saturday, September 23 at Mahany Park. Roseville's 24th annual family-friendly bicycle safety event features fun obstacle courses, riding demonstrations, helmet fittings, bicycle safety inspections, special appearances by public safety personnel, entertainment, and grand prize drawings for bicycles!
Work began in late August on preparing the site within Royer Park for the upcoming Downtown Bridges & Trail Project. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., for approximately 30 days. The Royer Park parking lot will remain open to the public. Dietrich Drive will be closed intermittently.
Roseville schools are teaming up with the City of Roseville to participate in the annual Walk or Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 4. Organized by the school's parent-teacher association and staff from the City of Roseville's Safe Routes to School program, the day is designed to encourage walking or biking to school in groups rather than driving.
