Effective Monday, October 20 Local Routes D and I will return service to the Civic Center Transfer Point on Vernon Street. Commuter Routes AM 3, PM 5, and PM 8 will return service to the Roseville Amtrak Station on Church Street.
Roseville Transit is asking for feedback on proposed Local route changes to enhance service and maximize efficiency, including daytime service to Sierra College in Rocklin. Service changes occur on a regular basis to further develop a comprehensive transit system that supports the community’s residents, visitors and businesses. Comments on these changes are being requested through October 21.
Due to the Veterans Day holiday, there will be no Commuter Service on Tuesday, November 11. Local and Dial-A-Ride service will operate normally (no Local Route S or Sierra College Evening Shuttle). The Alternative Transportation office will be closed. Passengers may continue to call 745-7560 for transit assistance. Transit passes can be purchased at the Roseville Sports Center.
What will our region look like in 20 years? How should we balance the transportation needs and wants of a growing region?Attend a public workshop and tell the Sacramento Area Council of Governments what you think. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy workshops will seek input from residents about travel choices, and information on how our region's transportation plan is funded.
Make an important contribution by giving people more freedom by teaching them how to use the local public transportation network. Trained Transit Ambassadors offer assurance, experience, information, and a friendly face to new passengers.
