Roseville, CA-November 21 at 9:54 a.m. The Roseville Fire Department responded to a report of a home fire in the 200 block of Church Street. Fire crews arrived to find smoke showing from the residence with all of the occupants safely outside. The first crew on-scene was able to quickly bring the fire under control keeping the flames from spreading throughout the home.
Multiple crews reported to the scene. A total of fifteen personnel responded. Assistance was also provided by American Medical Response. The fire was extinguished quickly and isolated to the room of origin. Once the scene is considered safe the residents will be able to return to the home, most likely in a few hours.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation but this unfortunate incident should act as a reminder to everyone to have properly working smoke detectors. Smoke detectors are the best warning system that can alert your family to dangerous smoke and fire in the home.
