Roseville, Ca- October 17th at 3:10 PM. The Roseville Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire at the Shell gas station on the corner of Blue Oaks and Foothills Blvd. Upon arrival units reported a Class B Motorhome, fully involved, with fire impinging on a 500 gallon propane tank. The heavy black smoke could be seen from approx. 10 – 15 miles away.
4 Fire Engines, 2 Ladder Trucks, 1 Battalion Chief and a Fire Investigator from the City of Roseville Responded. Fire Crews quickly extinguished the flames with major damage to the Motorhome as well as the propane tank. No damage to nearby structures.
One Firefighter was sent to the hospital with smoke inhalation and no civilian injuries. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
