Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

City of Roseville, Ca on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 9:47 a.m.
we received a call from a witness stating that a male suspect was inside the bank displaying a firearm and demanding money. The suspect described as a white male in his 50’s took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank.

Based on previous bank robberies, officers knew there might be a specific suspect vehicle involved.

Several Roseville Police Officers were able to quickly converge on the area. Officers saw a vehicle that matched the description of the sedan. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on the sedan but the suspect fled from officers. Shortly after, the suspect was involved in a traffic collision that entrapped him in his vehicle.

With assistance from emergency personnel, at 9:58 a.m. the suspect was taken into custody and provided medical treatment for injuries. There were two other vehicles involved in the traffic collision and those individuals were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Since March of this year we’ve had 9 bank robberies in Roseville. We believe this suspect may be connected to other bank robberies in the past.
