Visit our Fix a Leak exhibit and learn how to stop water-wasting leaks at home. Leaks from the average household can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted every year, and 10% percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 gallons of water per day. Do you live in a leaky home? Worn toilet flappers, dripping faucets and faulty irrigation are common types of leaks that once fixed can save you water and money.

We need water to survive. Not everyone around the world has the same access to water, and many of us take safe and clean drinking water for granted. Our Water is Life exhibit demonstrates some of the many ways people obtain water and shows the different levels of water accessibility. This exhibit hopes to inspire you to help protect this vital resource.

The holiday season is the time to bring family and friends together for delicious meals, thoughtful gifts and special get-togethers. However, these celebrations can result in extra trash, huge laundry piles, fatty food waste and extra energy and water use. Our Home for the Holidays exhibit offers helpful hints on how to ease holiday stress on you and your home. Our Utilities at Work exhibit features images of our utility workers in the field. Get a glimpse at some of our crews as they provide clean water and reliable electricity, transport garbage, maintain our sewer lines and keep our community safe and healthy.

Our Earth from Space exhibit gives you a satellite view of the planet we call home. This imagery provides a new perspective of our world and might raise some issues in your mind. Think about the impact humans have had on the earth, such as deforestation, global warming, urban growth and light pollution, and what we can do to help improve the earth’s future.
