From March 2 – April 30, Roseville Public Library hosted its first ever ‘Spring into Roseville’ Reading Challenge. We had 832 participants and logged 440,000 community reading minutes on Beanstack! While we fell just shy of our 500,000 minute goal, we are excited to see so many new participants getting involved and developing great literacy habits.

All participants who read at least 5 hours were entered into our prize drawings, with extra badges counting towards extra ticket entries. Our prize winners are:
  • Tot Prize (See & Spell toy, 'Find it' scavenger hunt card game): Bruce H.
  • Youth Prize (Terrarium kit and nature activity book):  Scott H.
  • Teen Prize (Reusable water bottle and 3 library-themed vinyl stickers): Ryan B.
  • Adult Prize ($25 gift card to Green Acres): Brooke H.
  • GRAND Prize ($100 Galleria Gift Card): Sawyer M.
All prize winners have been notified, and photos will be shared on social media. Special thanks to the Friends of the Roseville Public Library for their generous support of our Spring Reading activities and prizes.

Our next challenge is Summer Reading, which will run from June 1  - July 31, 2021. Visit roseville.ca.us/summerreading for more information!
