The Finance Department provides for and ensures the financial integrity of City resources by monitoring all financial functions and transactions. To provide these services to both our internal and external customers, the Finance Department is divided into the following sections:

The department is led by Russ Branson who serves as the Finance Director & Treasurer and Monty Hanks who serves as the Assistant Finance Director.

S&P raises Roseville credit rating
News ImageStandard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its issuer credit rating on the City of Roseville one notch to 'AA+' from 'AA' in its latest review published April 1. The upgrade is based on Rosevilles strong economy, strong budget flexibility and strong budget management according to Standard & Poor's.

This credit rating upgrade has the potential to save the City hundreds of thousands of dollars with future bond issuances. The debt service savings to the City on the issuance of $35 million in bonds would be $500,000.

City of Roseville wins Operating Budget Excellence Award
The City of Roseville has been awarded an Excellence Award from the California Society Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) for the fiscal year 2012/13 annual budget document. This is the 10th consecutive year the City has won an award for its budget document from the CSMFO.

New Drive up Utility Bill Payment Box
News ImageA second utility bill payment box has been added in downtown Roseville. The box is across Vernon Street from the Civic Center, in the parking lot next to 316 Vernon Street.

The placement of the new payment box allows residents to drop off their utility payment from their vehicle. It will remain at this location during the town square construction period.

There is also a payment box outside the entrance doors to the Civic Center at 311 Vernon Street.
