Utility Exploration Center Welcomes New Supervisor

Please join us in welcoming Rachel Tooker as our new Utility Exploration Center Supervisor. Rachel has over 17 years of Director or Deputy Director level experience in interpretive centers and museums. She brings strong leadership and strategic planning skills and is committed to education, public service, community engagement, and ensuring public value.

Rachel most recently served as Special Projects Manager at the Crocker Art Museum, where she wrote and managed several successful grant projects focused on expanding the Crocker's connection with family audiences. Prior to the Crocker, she was Deputy Executive Director at the Ohio Historical Society, and directed a network of thirty two state historic sites and visitor centers for the Minnesota Historical Society. She has extensive experience with developing visitor centers, exhibits, and interpretive trails projects, and is excited to bring these skills to the work of the UEC. In addition to her museum background, she is a Master Gardener and a dedicated practitioner of many of the concepts and ideas we promote at the Center in her everyday life.

Rachel will work closely with Roseville Electric, Environmental Utilities, and Parks, Recreation and Libraries to support utility initiatives and provide value to our ratepayers.

A great deal of gratitude goes to Matthew Davis for his years of service at the Center and who stepped in as acting UEC supervisor during the interim. Matthew provided excellent leadership and direction at the Center during a difficult time.
