Phase 2 of Maidu Park trail resurfacing in progress

Updated October 12, 2021
Watch for work in progress during the month of November 2021 on the second phase of Maidu Park trail resurfacing.

Trail construction along McLaren Drive, between Rocky Ridge and Thistle Down Drive, will take place 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. The project is estimated to last two weeks.

In the area where work is underway, the trail will be temporarily closed to the public. Watch for signs and barricades marking trail closures. For your safety, never enter an area closed for construction.

Phase 2 construction is approximately $171,000 and paid for by Local Transportation Funds. Phase 1 resurfacing work was completed in 2019

For questions about construction activity, please email or call Public Works at (916) 746-1300.
