You might have used our free door-to-door pickup in the past but we are slowly adding more Household Hazardous Waste items for pick up.  

What materials do we pick up?

  • Common household batteries (be sure to tape the ends of the batteries with clear tape) and automotive batteries
  • Fluorescent tubes and bulbs and other mercury-containing lamps
  • Older thermostats that contain mercury
  • Electronic items such as televisions, computers, computer monitors and printers
  • DVD and VCRs, stereos, cell phones, telephones and radios
  • Cooking Fats, Oils and Grease (must be sealed in a plastic container and marked)
  • Motor oil and filters
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Propane tanks (up to 5 gallons)
  • Automotive fluids
  • All paint types
  • Cleaners
  • Pesticides
  • Aerosol cans
  • Solvents/Degreasers
  • Most products labeled “Danger/Caution/Warning/Flammable/Poison”
