
Apply for the Student Innovation Challenge, a hackathon-style event designed to empower the next generation of innovators in the Greater Sacramento area. This dynamic and competitive program at the
Roseville Venture Lab brings together talented students with a passion for technology.
This year, high school students are challenged to push their boundaries and develop groundbreaking software and hardware solutions.
We're looking for a diverse group of students with technical experience who are eager to collaborate and innovate. This is your chance to enhance your technical skills, connect with industry professionals, expand your network, and win prizes.
Accepted students will have the opportunity to:
- Work as a team to identify and design an innovative hardware/software solution to a set theme.
- Understand the entrepreneurial mindset behind navigating modern challenges and obstacles.
- Meet industry mentors who are building successful companies in our region.
- Prepare a project demo and pitch to be presented to a panel of judges at the end of the event. Prizes will be awarded to winning entrants.
Apply by Monday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m. Students will be notified of admission by Saturday, April 5.
The event will take place Friday, April 11 from 5 - 6 p.m., Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday, April 13 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Roseville Venture Lab. Saturday and Sunday hours are flexible. Students must be present on Friday and the last three hours on Sunday.
