FAB Memberships & Drop-In
FAB programming is in full swing at the Maidu Community Center and the Mahany Fitness Center, offering a variety of programs at both locations. These programs are designed for anyone over the age of 50 to come and enjoy. Participation in activities require a FAB membership or paying the daily drop-in fee ($5).

Types of Activities
We offer a wide range of activities to FAB participants. A sampling of these activities include:
  • Clubs: Genealogical Society and Color Therapy
  • Active Programs: Maidu Singers, Wii Sports, Bocce Ball
  • Support Groups: Parkinson's, Widowed Person, Alzheimer's Caregivers, and Looking Forward (Low Vision & Blind)
  • Variety of workshops and presentations from professional health and aging agencies
  • Day Trips, Potlucks, Luncheons
  • Bingo, Bunco, Knit & Crochet, Pinochle, Quilting, Mahjong, Movies, Hand & Foot, Canasta, and so much more!

Puzzle Palooza Series
Saturday, July 12, 10:00am-12:30pm, Mahany Fitness Center
  • Join us for a series of fun and challenging events at the Mahany Fitness Center (formerly known as the Roseville Sports Center)! Puzzle enthusiasts of all ages (14+) are invited to team up and compete in our exciting Puzzle Palooza
  • Here's what you can look forward to: 
    • Complete a 500-piece puzzle as fast as you can within 2 hours
    • $40 per team (up to 4 people)
    • Only 1 person per team needs to register
    • Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
    • Take puzzles home as a trophy of your achievement
    • Participate in our puzzle swap: Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle

  • Want to compete in the Puzzle Palooza, but don't have a team to compete with? Register as an individual participant for $10. As an individual participant, you will be placed on a team (up to 4 people) with other individual participants on the day of the event. Register as an individual participant HERE.

Watercolor Painting - Summer Day Landscape
Wednesday, July 23, 9:00-11:00am, Mahany Fitness Center
  • Learn the basic concepts of watercolor. This senior-friendly adult class is ideal for people new to watercolor or for those who want to brush up on their previous skills and knowledge. No experience necessary and all materials provided. Fee includes supplies and 2-hour instruction led by a professional artist.
  • FAB Members: $50          Non-FAB Members: $55

Adult Pickleball Classes
Thursdays, July 10 to July 31, 9:00-10:00am, Woodbridge Park Pickleball Court
  • Whether you are new to the game or looking to elevate your skills, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to pickleball in a fun and engaging setting. Participants will learn the fundamentals while enjoying great exercise and social interaction. With lively drills, games, and mini-tournaments, this program improves your skills, enhances your fitness, and fosters your love for the game. Come join the fun and meet new friends on the court!
