The City of Roseville is a Council-Manager form of government in which responsibilities are vested in the City Council and the City Manager.

In this form of government, the City Council’s role is that of a legislative policy-making body which determines not only the local laws that regulate community life, but also determines public policy and gives direction to the City Manager.

The City Manager administers the affairs of the city government in a businesslike and prudent manner.

The public is invited to attend City Council meetings which are held at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the City Council Chambers, 311 Vernon Street.

Special meetings and workshops are scheduled as needed; see our Online City Council Calendar for up-to-date meeting information.
