Transitional and Permanent Housing
Advocates for Mentally Ill Housing, Inc. (AMIH) provides housing and life skills programs to adults with mental illness and others in need who reside in Placer County, who would otherwise be homeless.

Placer County Homeless Census Counts
As a condition to receive federal funding HUD requires all Continuum of Care (CoC) to conduct a Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) count of sheltered homeless persons during the last ten days in January, (in odd numbered years).
